Paul McDonald is the Chief Executive Officer of RNA Australia, bringing over 25 years of leadership in pharmaceutical product development, commercialisation, and advanced manufacturing.

Known for translating complex scientific innovation into real-world medical outcomes, Paul oversees RNA Australia's strategic pillars and its cutting-edge RNA Pilot Manufacturing Facility.

Prior to his current role, he served as CEO of IDT Australia, where he drove a major strategic transformation into sterile manufacturing and complex formulations. He also led Pfizer’s Australian R&D team, where he successfully managed more than 50 global technology transfers and commercialised a pharmaceutical pipeline valued at $350 million in peak annual sales. He holds postgraduate qualifications in both Biomedical and Business studies.
