Dr Natasha Chaudhary is Facility Lead at the BASE mRNA Facility, based at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), University of Queensland, with extensive experience in mRNA manufacturing and LNP formulation. She completed postdoctoral studies in drug development and delivery at Weill Cornell Medical College and Mount Sinai Hospital (United States and Canada), before joining Elarex Inc., where she worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop thermostable lipid nanoparticle (LNP) liquid formulations. She has authored peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals, including Nature, Nature Protocols, Nature Cancer, and Nature Communications. At BASE, Natasha oversees facility operations, with responsibility spanning quality control workflow development, process design, and cross-sector collaboration with academic, clinical, and industry partners. Her work focuses on advancing mRNA-lipid nanoparticle platforms, supporting projects from early formulation through to translational and clinical-adjacent applications.
