DR CHRIS BROSNAN

RNA biologist, QAAFI, the University of Queensland, AUSTRALIA

Chris Brosnan is an RNA biologist within QAAFI at the University of Queensland. After completing his PhD moved to the CNRS in France followed by the ETH in Zurich Switzerland where is studied the fundamentals of plant RNA-mediated gene regulation. He has made many significant contributions to the fields of plant RNA biology in particular RNA movement, small RNA biology and epigenetics in model and non-model species. As part of his current role he is mechanistically optimising the delivery of exogenously applied RNAi and other macromolecules for plant protection and improving plant traits.
