Stacy Horner

Bio:
Dr. Stacy M. Horner is an Associate Professor at the Duke University School of Medicine, holding joint appointments in the Departments of Integrative Immunobiology and Medicine, and serving as Director of the Duke Center for RNA Biology. After earning her Ph.D. from Yale University in 2007 and conducting postdoctoral research at the University of Washington as an Irvington Institute Fellow, she established her laboratory at Duke. Dr. Horner’s research focuses on virus-host interactions, especially how Flaviviridae viruses like hepatitis C, Dengue, and Zika manipulate host antiviral innate immunity and RNA regulatory mechanisms during infection.
